Refund policy

Returns 

If you are unhappy with your order or it has arrived damaged, we do of course accept returns or exchanges. (excluding custom made items & commissions - these cannot be purchased directly from our website)

It is the customers responsibility to return the item unworn & unused and in its original packaging via, All return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. We aim to issue the refund and complete the return within 1-3 days of receiving the return providing it is unworn & returned in its original packing (branded box). If the Jewellery appears to be worn or damaged though wear and tear your return will not be accepted.

Earrings cannot be returned or exchanged due to Hygiene reasons. If your earrings arrive broken/damaged or break due to no fault of your own please contact us at info@melissayarlett.co.uk for repair or return advise.

But please do think carefully before you place an order as each and every piece is made by hand, which can take many hours. From making the model, setting the stones and polishing so there will always be some slight differences between pieces and evidence of a human touch. I will always do my absolute best to create the best quality work that I can, but if there are any issues, please do contact us at info@melissayarlett.co.uk

Ring Reszing 

Please note it is the customers responsibility to order the correct ring size, if you need help on selecting the correct size, please contact us and we will do our best to help.

Ring resizing costs £25, and has a turnaround time of 3-10 days.

Bespoke Orders & Commissions 

Quotes for bespoke or custom pieces that have yet to be confirmed or are valid for 30 days. 

Commissioned jewellery, or items that have been made to your specific requirements or with your own materials, cannot be returned unless there has been a fault in our workmanship, which will be assessed at the point of return. A 50%  deposit is required on all commissions, with the balance payable upon completion and prior to delivery.

Bespoke orders and commissions cannot be changed or cancelled once a deposit has been paid – this is your agreement and commitment to the order. The deposit will not be refunded if you choose to cancel your order once it has been confirmed and production started.

Designs produced from an agreed drawing or using your own materials may be subject to minor alterations during the making process, and very small deviations from initial design specifications may occur. We will of course contact you if substantial changes need to be made, or if materials turn out to be unsuitable for reworking.

Full payment is required on all items prior to collection or dispatch of an order. Goods remain the property of Melissa Yarlett Jewellery until paid in full.
